As part of our philanthropic mission to give back, and as part of our monthly Lunch & Learn program, the firm prepared hygiene kits for the House of Charity. The House of Charity is a great organization that focuses on getting people back on their feet and back into an independent lifestyle. The hygiene kits are an essential part of that mission as they are provided to those in need who are without basic necessities like soap, toothbrushes, razors and other essentials.
Brownson • Norby, PLLC is proud to have played a role in the great work of the House of Charity, and encourages others to get involved.
Operation Backpack is the Minnesota and Wisconsin Volunteers of America’s annual drive to collect new backpacks filled with school supplies for children from low-income families in the community. Operation Backpack benefits at-risk students including foster children, inner-city students, special needs youth, and those with mental health issues. With the help of the Capella Tower tenants, the fundraiser allows them to start the school year off right—well-equipped and ready to learn. Brownson • Norby, PLLC is in its seventh year donating backpacks to the fundraiser. Provided with a school supply list, this year the firm shopped for supplies for two fourth or fifth grade students for their upcoming school year.
On Friday, March 16th, Brownson • Norby spent some time packaging food with the Feed My Starving Children program in Coon Rapids.
